I want visitors to know who is behind Names Generator Hub and how the site is made. This page explains how I build the tools, check factual name information and handle corrections.
Who is responsible for the site
I'm Avinash Verma, the owner, developer and editor of this site. I maintain the datasets, write and edit the guide pages, and review corrections sent by readers. I handle this work myself, so questions sent to contact@namesgeneratorhub.com come directly to me.
How I build the name suggestions
I build each of the 51 tools from maintained name records or coded combinations of prefixes, suffixes and syllables. The generator then applies the filters you choose, such as gender, starting letter, length or style. It runs in your browser and does not send your generated or saved names to an external AI service.
How I source name meanings
For baby and human names, a meaning can be published only when its record has an explicit confidence status and a name-level etymology or language source. Legacy meaning strings without both fields are suppressed from generator results while they are reviewed. Names can cross languages and cultures, so a short label on this site should be treated as a starting point, not the only interpretation.
The confidence states are verified literal meaning, possible interpretation, traditional association, meaning disputed, meaning unknown and pending review. A possible interpretation is never merged into a confident literal definition, and only a verified literal meaning can place a name in a “Names That Mean…” collection.
The public references I use include the US Social Security Administration's baby-names data, the UK Office for National Statistics baby-name records, and established etymology references such as Behind the Name. Government datasets help confirm usage and popularity; they are not sources for etymology. When I cannot support a meaning, I leave it out rather than fill the gap with a popular internet claim.
For creative categories — fantasy, gaming, business, brand and username names — the results are generated combinations designed to inspire you, not dictionary definitions or promises of uniqueness. I label these as creative ideas rather than presenting them as factual word meanings.
Writing, automation and originality
I am responsible for every page that is finally published. Automated tools may assist with code, consistency checks and draft editing, but they are not treated as factual sources or independent reviewers. Factual claims must be checked against a named reference, qualified clearly, or removed. References are used to check facts, not copied as ready-made articles or descriptions. The simple interface graphics are original inline illustrations rather than images taken from other sites.
Accuracy, reviews and updates
I review the datasets and guides in batches and correct specific problems as I find them. A "Last updated" date changes only after I have materially reviewed that page. The site currently has 14 guides alongside its tools.
Independence and affiliations
Names Generator Hub is an independent website. Tools that reference popular games or platforms (for example, names styled for PUBG, BGMI, Free Fire, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok) are provided for fans and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what a tool is for. I do not claim the tools can check or reserve domains, trademarks or usernames; each commercial or profile-name page tells visitors to verify availability independently.
